The Police Academy Stunt Show features many special effects including a chopper which simulates flight via a computer controlled hydraulic mechanism and a "full auto" machine gun complete with muzzle flash. The act culminates in an impressive explosion as the chopper is shot down by a cannon.
Also featured in the show is the Flagpole Gag in which a cast member is hoisted up the pole by their pants and the popular dummy firing, where a dummy of one of cast members appears to be blasted out of the set after an explosion.
